Last updated: 26 October 2026

XtracThis processes the archives, files and folders you choose on your device. Archives may contain personal information. XtracThis uses their contents only to carry out the file operations you request. Extracted files are saved to the destination you choose.

XtracThis does not upload your archives, extracted files, passwords or settings. It does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics or tracking.

XtracThis saves preferences and unfinished archive queues locally. These records may include archive names, file paths and destination folders so that you can continue your work. They remain on your device until overwritten or removed. Archive passwords are held for the current session and are not saved in XtracThis settings.

Storage or backup services that you choose to use are governed by their own settings and policies.
