MPFX IPTV privacy policy
3 November 2026
This policy covers MPFX IPTV for Amazon Fire TV. MPFX IPTV plays media from the compatible source you choose. It does not supply IPTV accounts, subscriptions or a channel service. Original sample videos are bundled in the app and work without a provider account.
Your source login
When you choose Connect, the app sends your server address, username and password directly to your chosen Xtream-compatible provider to authenticate and request its library and streams. Your provider also receives requests when you browse groups, request programme information or play media. MPFX does not route these requests through an MPFX server.
Source credentials are held in app memory for the current session. The app does not save them as a remembered login. Disconnecting or terminating the app ends that source session; connect again after restarting.
Network connections
Your provider and the servers delivering its streams or artwork receive your network requests and IP address, as needed to deliver the content you request. Their data practices are governed by their own policies. Provider artwork is restricted to public HTTPS addresses; the app filters artwork URLs containing known login credentials or authentication parameters.
Use HTTPS where your provider supports it. An HTTP source sends your login and media without encryption. MPFX IPTV requires you to enable Allow HTTP before connecting to such a source. It does not disable certificate validation for HTTPS.
Your saved library
Favorites and film or episode watch positions are stored in private app storage on your Fire TV, separately for each source and username. A hash identifies the source profile. These saved records contain media identifiers and watch positions, rather than passwords or playable video URLs. Demo favorites and progress last only for the current demo session.
Disconnecting keeps your saved provider library for a future connection. To remove saved records, use Fire TV Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → MPFX IPTV → Clear data, or uninstall the app. MPFX IPTV disables Android app-data backup. Your provider manages its own account and any records it holds; contact it for account deletion or other provider requests.
Analytics, advertising and permissions
This version includes no advertising SDK or MPFX analytics service and does not upload playback measurements or crash reports to MPFX. It uses Internet and network-state permissions for provider connections. It does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera or location.
Amazon handles Appstore purchases and may process purchase, account, device or diagnostic information under Amazon's own policies. MPFX IPTV does not receive your payment-card details.
When you contact support
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and your email address so that we can reply. Include your Fire TV model, app version and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, full stream links or private provider account details. Support correspondence is separate from the app's playback and local library.
Changes and contact
This policy applies to MPFX IPTV for Fire TV. Other MPFX editions may have different features and policies. We will update this page when this app's data practices change.
